Okay, this is my Vacation Brain talking. This little hummingbird was doing it’s job here in Palm Springs, filling up on flower power, and she reminded me of an important creative life basic. We should refuel when we need. We should be with friends who lift us, eat food that nourishes us, and read for joy and introspection. We should get enough sleep. We should gather what we need so we can live fully and do the work we’re supposed to do and be present for the ones in our lives that we truly care for and the strangers we meet.
