You know when you pick up a certain book at just the right time? Maybe you would not have liked it a year before or you wanted to finish something else first? Well it’s happened to me again, this time with HOURGLASS. This book. This book! One of the best spontaneous purchases I’ve made all year. It feels as important to me right now as Virginia Woolf’s A ROOM OF ONE’S OWN did when I was just out of college. It’s about a long marriage between 2 writers, it’s filled with quotes, and it questions time and art and life.
