💙❤️I FINALLY got up the courage to read this book. I’m such a scaredy cat, but this fictional story is about much more than the real life Manson murders. It’s about the love, curiosity and fierceness of female friendships and competition. It’s about being feral or trapped. The language is so beautifully distracting, its the first time in a long time I’ve wanted to pull out a pencil to underline phrases. The Girls is ephemeral and airy and reads like a Sofia Coppola movie.
